We all saw the massive purple and red blob headed straight for
Tahiti earlier in the week. Initial reports were calling it upwards of
a twenty-foot swell.
Yeah, right. Heard it all before.
Then I got an email from a friend who said the swell had been
downgraded a bit. He was dead wrong. This swell hit hard, really
hard, like biggest swell of the year hard. And right when I began
wondering when and where the photos would show up, my email
inbox flashed “TAHITI, THURSDAY NOV 1”
