Special RC - Last Outdoor National - 150th Career Wins

Carmichael showed his appreciation to his fans during the first
moto. Once he had moved out to a comfortable lead, RC started
acknowledging fans by nodding his head and occasionally waving
as he circulated the track. The fans in this corner were
particularly happy when Carmichael recognized their cheers.

At his last AMA Motocross National, Ricky Carmichael went out in
style; collecting his sixth win in as many tries this season, and his
150th career victory.

Ricky's 150 wins have come via 26 victories in the 125 class, 48
Supercross first place finishes, and 76 Motocross class wins.

The long line for a Carmichael autograph started shaping up early
in the pits on Sunday morning. Actually, these folks are lining up
to get a ticket that will give them a spot in line later in the day for
the autograph.

The autograph lines were nothing compared to the throngs of fans
that rushed the podium after Ricky secured his 150th career win.
Carmichael's farewell race was no doubt a big part of the record
attendance at Millville this weekend, which topped out at 26,128.

Roger DeCoster and the rest of the Makita/Suzuki crew were
sporting these sweet "150 Career Wins" t-shirts from Fox after RC
clinched the win.

Ricky Carmichael has collected ten wins in Millville, and like at
most stops along the AMA circuit, RC is a popular rider with the
Minnesota fans; an admiration that is mutual. "They're some of
the best fans around," said Carmichael of the Millville faithful
during the post-race press conference.

The Bud Light sitting in front of Carmichael during the press
conference would suggest that he is finally ready to begin slowing
down, although he said he faces many challenges in his road to
NASCAR's Nextel Cup series.
