Jeremy McGrath to be honored by San Diego Sports Medicine Foundation

The San Diego Sports Medicine Foundation is pleased to announce this years
honorees at the 6th annual Taste at the Cove.

Jeremy McGrath and Dr Robert Pace will be honored at Taste at the Cove, a
fundraiser for the San Diego Sports Medicine Foundation. This event raises
over $200,000 annually to provide a medical safety net for injured youth with
limited financial means in order to return them back to health, sports and life.
Throughout the event there will be GREAT complimentary food from over 30
of the best restaurants in La Jolla and San Diego, hosted bars, three New York
style fashion shows, great opportunity drawings, silent auction items plus a
live auction! The MC for the event is CS Keys from Fox 6 and the auctioneers
are Scott and Billy Ray from XX Radio. This year guests will be treated to a
surprise performance, one not to miss.

Jeremy McGrath is being honored for his seven Supercross titles - a feat no
other racer in Supercross history has even come close to - with two additional
125 Western Region Supercross Championships, one 250 Outdoor National
Championship and to FIM World Supercross Championships, most within this
spectacular sport feel Jeremy McGrath is to Supercross what Michael Jordan is
to basketball. Truly the most successful rider in AMA Supercross history, with
a record 72 250cc Supercrosswins, the dirt bike racing icon retired from the
sport he helped catapult into mainstream popularity in 2003, only to return in
the 2005 season to race select events throughout the 16 week pro Supercross
season.

Not only a world class athlete, but an exceptional entrepreneur ... Jeremy is
the first pro racer to form and operate his own Supercross race team. The
team's 2001 inaugural race season, culminated with a title sponsor deal with
MAZDA and in 2002 BUD LIGHT/ANHEUSER-BUSCH signed on as title sponsor
for McGrath's endeavor.

Jeremy is long time San Diego resident and gives back to
the San Diego community. Dr Robert Pace is being
honoured for his work in the community. One of his most
satisfying professional experiences has been working with
the young athletes in the Fallbrook area. Pop Warner
"physicals day" has been a Dr. Pace office tradition in his
town for many years. He has served for the past 31 years
as team physician for the Fallbrook High School Football
team. He knows he has been in town for a long time since
he is now seeing young patients who are the offspring of
some of those long ago high school footballers.
