Coppins not looking good for Ireland

Radio New Zealand have reported that MX1 World
Championship hopeful Josh Coppins looks unlikely
to compete in Northern Ireland this weekend for
the third last round of the world championship.

The report stated that Coppins had been told by
a specialist that he can't ride the round this
weekend, which could see him lose his
championship lead.

The Yamaha rider broke his shoulder blade just
over 2 weeks ago and has already missed one
round, meaning his lead is now just 43 points...
there is a maximum of 50 points available in
each round.

Coppins says he's still confident of success and
just wants to be fully fit for the final 2 rounds.
