Sun for Grand Prix of Great Britain

American Motocross legend Chuck Sun will compete in the
Veteran World Cup races at the British Motocross Grand Prix at
Donington Park England on the 25/26th August.

Former Honda and Husqvarna factory rider, Sun won the 1980
AMA 500cc National Championship for Honda and was part of the
victorious 1981 Motocross des Nations team, when they beat the
established stars in the deep sand of Lommel Belgium.

Neil Prince, Team Manager of the CAS Honda Grand Prix Team
has agreed to supply one of their works Honda’s for the event,
where past motocross legends such as Grahan Noyce, Dave
Thorpe and Eric Geboers compete on modern day machinery.

British artist Rob Kinsey was able to bring this deal together and
is sure the British fans will welcome seeing Chuck battle out with
former World Champion’s like Dave Thorpe, who won the first
round at Namur Belgium.

The last time Sun raced in England was back in the 1970’s at the
Hant’s Grand International at Matcham’s Park, so it will be a
grand return for the former Honda factory rider.

This is the first time a Motocross Grand Prix has been held at
Donington Park, where a motocross track has been built on the
