Racer X/Toyota Power Rankings August 29, 2007
History is made this week as Ryan Villopoto becomes the first
Lites rider to ever top the Toyota Racer X Top 25 Power
Rankings. RV1 earned it, too, logging lap times that would have
put him in front of the 450 riders, and of course were much, much
faster than his 250F competition. But RV still holds only a slim
points lead over his teammate Ben Townley, still ranked third in
this group, so he better keep up the good work! Meanwhile, the
Power Rankings indicate what many at the track are already
saying: Grant Langston may be the strongest rider in the stacked
AMA Motocross Class right now. Carmichael and Stewart are gone
for the year, so how will this shake up the board as we drop the
gate on the final two races of the year? Stay tuned! click on ozzy
