The AMA Supermoto Championship is set to return to the Music
City Motorplex, located in Nashville, Tenn., this weekend, Sept. 1-
2, for round six of the 10-round championship.

The 3rd Annual Extreme Cycle Jam marks the fourth time the
AMA Supermoto Championship has visited Nashville. “After our
success last year our goal is to grow a bigger and better event for
the future,” said Norman W. Partin, General Manager of Music City
Motorplex. “We are combining Music City USA with world-class
racers and fast race tracks to build an event where fans want to
return year after year.”

Track changes for 2007 have been designed to improve the fan
experience at the fairgrounds raceway. The dirt section has been
moved closer to the stadium seating and the unique Parts
Unlimited UrbanCross obstacle will be situated right across from
the fans.

Last weekend in Hartford, Conn., All Access Honda’s Micky
Dymond captured his first win in the premier AMA Red Bull
Supermoto class. Dymond was the 2005 Supermoto Unlimited
Champion. -click on ozzy go to the full story-
