Solid finish for the first year KTM racer has him pumped up
and eager to move up; effort is believed to be KTM’s first-
ever top ten SX finish on the KTM 450SX bike
CARLSBAD, Calif., (Jan. 7, 2008) – Team MDK/KTM’s Nick Wey
nailed a top ten finish on his first-ever race aboard
the factory KTM 450SX, placing 9th at the opening round of
2008 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World
Championship, at Anaheim’s (Calif.) Angels Stadium.
And, in the process, Wey may have made some history in
that it’s believed – but not yet ‘officially’ confirmed – that
his 9th place finish at Anaheim in the premier AMA
Supercross class was the first-ever top ten finish for the
KTM 450SX bike.
“Yeah, if it’s the case that’d be pretty cool,” said Wey of his
possible historic ride. “Now I’ll have to be the first guy to
