David Pingree Injured - RacerX

Our own David Pingree suffered multiple injuries this past
weekend at the Redmond, Oregon, round of the 2007 AMA
Supermoto Championship. After winning the past four rounds,
Ping was leading the points in the AMA Supermoto Lites class
and looked capable of winning again after claiming the pole
for Saturday's race. On the opening lap he crashed entering
the whoops, and suffered several broken bones.

"I crashed in an over-watered section of the track on the first
lap of the main this weekend while leading," he said. "I broke
both bones in left forearm, navicular in left wrist and fractured
my right wrist. Seeing my Doc today at 11 about surgery. Ill
let you know more when I know."

Get well soon, Ping. RacerX
