Steel City Moto 1 Results - Alessi & Hepler won, Stroupe 2nd, Villopoto and Ferry take the lead

Steel City First Moto's August 26, 2007
It was two first-time moto winners this year that took their
respective class wins in today’s moto one. In the Motocross Lites
class Team Yamaha’s Broc Hepler took a convincing win over
Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Austin Stroupe and
teammate Ryan Villopoto. Villopoto came all the ay up after a first
turn crash left him and teammate’s Ben Townley, and Brett
Metcalfe on the ground.

Red Bull KTM’s Mike Alessi took his first moto win of 2007 after
battling with Sobe Samsung No Fear Honda rider Kevin Windham.
Eventually Yamaha’s Grant Langston caught Windham to take
second – while Windham held off a hard charging Timmy Ferry for
