AMA SuperMoto Series Round 5: Stafford Springs
Micky Dymond earned his first-ever AMA SuperMoto premier-
class race victory at the New England round this weekend,
winning an action-packed 20-lap final at Connecticut’s Stafford
Motor Speedway.

The craziness began right at the start, with CRF450R riders Jeff
Ward and Mark Burkhart coming together in the first corner,
sending the series’ top two contending riders straight to the back
of the class.

Troy Herfoss took advantage of their mistake, crossing the line
first on the first lap. But a miscue of his own punted the Aussie
down to 20th position before the next lap was finished.

Ben Carlson was next in line, leading laps two and three before
falling back to an eventual DNF. Robbie Horton inherited the lead,
but only for a lap, as a mistake sent him back through the pack
as well. click on ozzy go to the full story on hondaredriders.com
